Financial Information

For more than 40 years, Rhode Island Housing has been making it easier for people to make Rhode Island their home. Rhode Island Housing is a self-sustaining public agency, which generates its own operating income, without state funding. Everything we earn is reinvested to provide safe, healthy homes for Rhode Islanders.

We have invested $3.2 billion in the purchase, construction or restoration of homes and apartments in Rhode Island. We have helped more than 60,000 families buy homes and have financed the creation of more than 14,000 apartments that low- and moderate-income Rhode Islanders now call home.

Rhode Island Housing is one of only a handful of state housing finance agencies nationwide to have earned Standard & Poor’s “Top Tier” designation, a tribute to our management capability and fiscal responsibility.
