Our Services
Neighborhood Revitalization Program
Just as a good home is much more than four walls and a roof, a good neighborhood is much more than a cluster of buildings. A good neighborhood is a place where the homes are safe and healthy and families can feel comfortable and secure.
Our Neighborhood Revitalization Program is a pilot initiative where seven neighborhoods in North Kingstown, Pawtucket, Providence, South Kingstown and Woonsocket received planning grants to develop comprehensive five-year action plans to address issues such as housing, education, recreation and employment. Today each of these neighborhoods is hard at work implementing their vision.

Targeted Assistance Funds
Just as a good home is much more than four walls and a roof, a good neighborhood is much more than a cluster of buildings. A good neighborhood is a place where the homes are safe and healthy and families can feel comfortable and secure.
Through Rhode Island Housing's Targeted Assistance Program, Rhode Island Housing offers grant funding to help communities enhance or increase the supply of homes that people can afford. Targeted Assistance Grants have been used to help implement local affordable housing plans and study the feasibility of revitalizing blighted properties.
Grant applications for up to $10,000 are available on an ongoing basis, subject to funding availability. The grants must be matched by the applicant and are open to non-profit organizations, cities and towns, community groups, merchants' associations and other community stakeholders.
